Mazikeen = Batman?!! - Episode 5 Review

Episode 5 Review:

I like that Lucifer is seeking danger and exploring his mortality because this will probably lead to more thrilling scenes in the future. In this episode, however, I don’t think the events were that exciting.

"As a whole, I thought this episode was pretty boring. In regards to the overall storyline, I thought it added a good amount of interesting aspects, however this episodes individual storyline was slow and introduced characters I just didn't care about. The interactions between Lucifer and Chloe are getting better I feel, but that still doesn't excuse the poor dialogue that leaves you thinking "There is no way people actually talk like that".

Is Mazikeen the new Batman? Lucifer and his God complex. Let's just get it out of the way, Mazikeen's action scene dealing with the gang was fabulous. That's exactly what we need more of. The overall storyline of this episode however was below average. It is interesting to see Lucifer toying with the idea of mortality though, let's hope subsequent episodes build on this. 6/10

As others have said in regards to pace I do agree. Episode felt very long and drawn out. But for me I felt otherwise it was pretty good. Maze showing up out of no where to save the day, Lucifer skirting the edges of his new found mortality and that potential betrayal, very spicy indeed.  7/10
