Keep those cliches comin'

Episode 9 Review: "A Priest Walks into a Bar"

Marlotte:

"It was really nice that Lucifer showed sadness when the priest died. I only wished they had kept him alive for at least a few episodes that would have given me some time to get a connection with the character."

7/10

Jacob:

"Although a big chunk of the plot is about Lucifer becoming more human, this episode finally made that feel real through the connection between him and the priest. I loved the way it was portrayed and it just made me love Lucifer as a character even more."

8/10

Carayan:

"I quite like this, watching the impact the priest had on the Lucifer as he tried vehemently to break him down. It was good to see also that he in the end formed an acquaintance with him, with the end having a bigger than normal impact on Lucifer."

8/10

Michael:

"The cliches keep coming..."A Priest walks into a Bar". This is the first time that we see Lucifer actually form a connection with a character other than Chloe. It would have been interesting had they kept the priest alive, to see this newly formed friendship continue and develop. In my opinion it could have been taken a lot further and would have helped us understand Lucifer as a whole. Upon the priests death it was apparent to see a glimmer of the devil in Lucifer with a lust for vengeance. An overall good episode, with show taking a more serious approach to the storyline."

7/10

Overall: 7.5/10
