Lucifer Pilot
Hey Everyone, and welcome to our first official review of 'Lucifer'. Today we will be starting with episode 1, giving our reviews of the episode. We have all individually noted both our thoughts and scores of the episode below. We hope you Enjoy!
Jacob:
"The character of Lucifer was set up well and the theme of him becoming more human was interesting. However I thought the direction was a bit choppy and hard to follow at times, as well as some delivery of dialogue feeling a bit unnatural. Overall, it was a good start to the series, and hopefully will improve on what in theory is a good and intriguing concept for a show."
7/10
Marlotte:
"The main character Lucifer is very interesting. I loved his sarcastic sense of humour. The music choices in the episode were great too. I thought it was a great first episode and I am very excited to watch the rest of the season.
8/10
Carayan:
"(I agree with both points so far, this is a great show!)
Good in terms of pilot episode. To me it seemed too hectic in parts with the episode maybe moving as if it were part of a well established series, leaving me a little taken aback with the continuity of the show. Other than that Lucifers character is intriguing, sharp and witty. Some flaws but great nonetheless. "
6/10
Michael:
"Stop Caring...you're the Devil" definitely sums up the dilemma faced by our protagonist Lucifer and the entire premise of the show. The relationship between detective and Lucifer comes across as a bit awkward for my liking; with much of the dialogue and conversations feeling forced. The characterisation of Lucifer as an Englishman was a great choice in my opinion. Hopefully each episode helps to build a little more substance to each character we've met thus far. The definite highlight for me was the soundtrack, with some quality tunes being chosen.
6/10
OVERALL 6.75/10
