Get to Know Us

Today we're shaking it up a little. Instead of an episode review, we're going to share some of our all time favourite TV shows and movies with you. So, if you're curious to find out a little more about us keep on reading.

Michael: I'm a massive fan of Sci-Fi based television shows and movies. J.J Abrahams is one of my favourite directors of that genre. For those hunting for a series along those lines give 'Fringe' a try. Psychological thrillers are right up my alley too, try the movie 'Get Out' if that is what floats your boat. For light hearted humour give 'The Office' a go.

Marlotte: I love it when shows contain supernatural elements, superheroes with enhanced abilities or magical creates: I love all of it. Some of my favourite shows are thus: ‘The Originals’, ‘Iron Fist’ and ‘The Flash’. As for movies, I am a huge fan of anything that is MARVEL (except ‘Deadpool’, I know it’s an unpopular opinion). If you haven’t seen it yet, you should definitely go see ‘Infinity War’.

Carayan: Personally I grew up on morning cartoons before school. Cheez TV, Toasted TV. Pokemon, Digimon, Dragonball Z all the good stuff. Lately though I've found myself attached to a few shows. Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Scorpion, Suits and Archer to name a few. I don't have any particular genre as a favourite I watch quite a few different things, if it interests me I'll watch it. Movie wise I do tend to stray away from horror or thrillers but sometimes you just can't avoid it and sometimes it works out just great!

Jacob:“When it comes to movies and tv, I have never been able to decide on what genre is my favourite. Instead, I have always had a big variety of different stuff that I Love. As long as it is an interesting story with quality production, chances are I will enjoy it. Some of my favourite movies include; ‘It (2017)’, ‘The edge of Seventeen’, ‘Scott Pilgrim vs the World’, ‘whiplash’, ‘Fight Club’ and the ‘Rocky’ series. (There are so many more I could list). In regards to tv shows, some of my favourites include ‘Breaking bad’, ‘Stranger Things’, ‘Freaks and Geeks’, ‘The inbetweeners’ and ‘Full metal Alchemist’ (I could do a full list just on anime).
